HIGH VISIBILITY TRAINING

You know visibility is crucial to your team’s safety, but have you wondered why it works the way it does?

There’s a science to creating reflective materials that produce the highest visibility in both light and low light environments, and understanding this technology helps you choose the best products suited for your team’s job.

DESIGNED TO INFORM

We’ve developed a two-part webinar to bridge the gap between you, the science, and regulations. Visibility regulations are constantly evolving, and you need to understand what applies to your industry and how to appropriately fit your team or clients with PPE that complies to their region’s standards.

OUR TWO-PART WEBINAR

  •  A 1-hour webinar to help develop an understanding of the principles of reflectance, including:
    • How reflective materials function.
    • The importance of compliant reflective material.
    • Learn the basics of retroreflection.
  • A 1-hour webinar to dive into North American visibility standards, including:
    • CSA Z96
    • WorkSafe BC
    • ANSI 107
  • Learn how to evaluate the performance of reflective material.
  • Understand your options when it comes to 3M™ reflective materials.

GET TO KNOW YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Gail Burak, B.H.ECOL., PHEC., CHSC

Gail has over 30 years of experience in the garment manufacturing industry across Western Canada, and we’re grateful that the past 16 have been spent here, at Davey. Gail’s expertise in flame resistant and high visibility work wear has allowed her to provide technical support for customers, for both 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material and 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation.
Gail began developing this training program as an extension of her work with textile safety, and it quickly grew towards a team effort to inform workers, managers, and manufacturers on the importance of high visibility products and their functionality.
Now, the training has evolved into a two-part webinar and is expected to continue to grow in areas of international standards, product evolution and design to help our customers better understand and use reflective products.

We’re flexible and can structure our webinar around what works best for you and your team. If you’re interested in only one part of the webinar or taking part in both webinars over various days, we are open to accommodate your schedule.

Looking to learn more about another area of reflective material that you don’t see mentioned here? We want to hear from you! We’re constantly looking for ways to grow our training.
